The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET)

As the day was destined to be dreary, we decided to visit the MET and soak up some culture. I find my eyes are darting here and there trying not to miss any of the beautiful and interesting pieces from across the globe. It truly is hard to take it all in and absolutely impossible to do it in one day. You need at least two days to even try getting close to seeing it all as this place is huge – no ginormous! Hubby and I arrived just before opening at 10am and left at 4:30pm. Below is the map we used and each section we visited, we crossed off. As you can see, we didn’t even scratch the surface in 6 1/2 half hours.

At the end of the day my feet were so tired. We went back to our hotel room, ate Ben & Jerry’s and some choccies and decorated our Christmas tree.
